An experienced Business Services Representative (BSR) can pre-screen candidates and assist with identifying disabled prospects/veterans and others to match your hiring needs.
The BSR will manage your account and serve as the single point of contact for workforce services. Business Services Representatives work with the WDB Directors to offer no-cost recruitment services, numerous hiring incentives, and incentives for your training needs. Representatives can also connect you to County resources outside of the workforce arena.
Here’s how it works:
The assigned BSR will conduct an initial consultation to gain an understanding of your workforce needs and work with other trained professionals.
The BSR will pre-screen qualified and dependable candidates at times and locations convenient for you. The assigned BSR will arrange for applicant’s interviews and assist with securing hiring incentives and training options for new and incumbent workers.
In Passaic County, leading employers utilize the BRC to recruit and screen prospective employees and prioritize their needs. The BRC also assist companies with finding information about new business development, loan programs, and labor laws.
On-site interviews, recruitment, and screening can be hosted at the company’s locations at no cost. However, if a company feels more comfortable conducting off-campus interviews our fully equipped BRC (Internet-connected PCs, telephones, copiers, and meeting space) at the Passaic County One-Stop Career Center provides a professional environment for conducting positive recruitment interviews. The Business Representative will make all the necessary arrangements.
